This wouldn't ordinarily be such a big deal, but Diablo III features a hardcore mode in which characters who are killed die permanently.

Not deterred by the issue, this week Blizzard released a colossal blog on everything players can look forward to in upcoming Patch 1.0.7. In addition to the introduction of 1v1 PvP duels, players can look forward to balance tweaks for the Wizard and Monk, a new gem tier, and new account-bound craftable endgame gear. Players will be able to collect Demonic Essences from elite monsters in inferno mode and craft them into this new high-end archon gear, which can have higher stats than any rare gear that drops normally.

It's that time of year again; when Hati the legendary wolf stalks the rime-dusted forests of the Fremennik Province, and the Fremennik people plot to lure and capture his brother - Sk?ll - with a blaze as bright as the sun.

Speak to Vali outside Rellekka, and you'll be able to fight Hati when he appears regularly in the woods to the south east of Vali's location. You'll most likely need to work with others to win. If you contribute to the fight at all, though, you'll be able to claim paws which double combat XP gained when worn, and a cosmetic cloak and hood. These are dropped upon his defeat for everyone who pitched in, so don't be afraid to get involved, even if you're low-levelled. If you already own them, you won't receive them again, but your paws will be recharged - although only once for this year's event.

Speak to Vitharr on the coast, far to the west of Rellekka, for details of how to lure and fight Sk?ll. Whether you fuel the fire that brings him to Gielinor, or help to defeat him once he arrives, you'll be able to pick up a set of boots, which are dropped upon his demise for everyone who helped. These give aboost to Agility and Woodcutting XP earned while worn, equivalent to the combat XP boost from the paws. Combat Updates

As promised in Mod Mark's recent Og Blog, we've made a number of major changes to the way combat works:

Chaotic spikes are now available from the rewards vendor on Daemonheim Peninsula, which can be added to dragon claws (5 each for both the main-hand and off-hand claws) . These powerful new chaotic claws require 80 Attack to wield, and degrade in the same way as other chaotic weapons.
The defensive values of armour and weapons have been re-factored to provide additional effectiveness and worth to higher level gear and weaponry. NPCs have also undergone a similar treatment, so be warned when returning to tougher NPCs in lower-level gear.  

Torva, Pernix and Virtus gear now confer class-specific strength bonuses to the wearer. There is also an additional strength bonus for wearing a full set of Torva, Pernix or Virtus gear. The Bandos chest plate, Armadyl chest plate and Subjugation (sp) robe top have had class-specific strength bonuses added as well.

     Developed by Neople and currently published by Nexon, Dungeon Fighter Online is an online multiplayer beat-'em-up game most likely inspired by and borrowing heavily from the Dungeons and Dragons series of arcade games by Capcom. Most of the game play is held in dungeons, the only areas of the game that aren't safe and are not PvP arenas ( have monsters in them).

    One of the popular aspects of the game is that skills can be activated by using button combinations, much like in a fighting game. Want to punch right through a crowd of enemies? Hold FORWARD + Z. That enemy is only vulnerable to magic damage that only your grenades can provide? FORWARD, UP + Z. Once you memorize all the unique combinations, you won't need to use as many hot keys to activate skills, freeing up your hot key slots for more important uses.

    Players can choose to be one of six classes:
    Slayer: White-haired warrior who has an arm possessed by a demon named Kazan. Specializes in close combat with either a blade or a club, and wears heavy armor. A female version has been announced in the Korean version. (and is currently in testing!)

Fighter: Close-combat brawler, who uses punches and kicks while sporting a Thong of Shielding. Wears light armor. Most likely a Lightning Bruiser. Has a Spear Counterpart.

    Gunner: Tall, gun-wielding jerk who loves playing the keep-away style. Wears leathers. Most likely a Glass Cannon. Has a male and female version, each with slightly different abilities.

    Mage: The Token Mini-Moe of the six; usually prefers casting spells to deal damage rather than melee combat. Originally a purely female class, male mages were added to the game later; they manage to look Darker and Edgier while still being cute.

     Priest: Burly devout who wields very large religion-themed weaponry and can cast various buffs on the party. Wears heavy armor. Is a Mighty Glacier. Also breaks the usual MMO priest mold by being ridiculously powerful rather than simply a cross between the Squishy Wizard and The Medic.

    Thief: Dark Elf who can either swiftly cut her opponents to ribbons with twin blades, or can hang back and fight with dark magic and her trusty Battle Butler.

   Note the prevalent use of phrases like "most likely" or "usually" in the class descriptions.
